Plugin workflows

The connected workflow from Figma to Studio.

Connect through your UISqueezy account.

The plugin opens a browser-based authorization flow, then stores the plugin session locally in Figma.

Projects

Choose the right workspace project.

After sign-in, the plugin works with projects the current user can access instead of relying on a one-off API key flow.

Collections

Load only the active token module.

Colors, typography, spacing, radius, shadows, sizes, breakpoints, and z-index can be fetched by module as the user switches collections.

Sync

Send tokens to Figma Variables.

Sync actions use the connected project context so Figma Variables can be created or updated from the UISqueezy token source.

Pull

Bring supported updates back.

When values or token keys are changed in Figma Variables, the pull action can send supported updates back to the project.

Feedback

Explain gated actions clearly.

Permission, plan, and credit states can disable sync or pull actions with product-specific feedback in the plugin UI.

How it works

From install to sync in three clear steps.

01

Install the plugin

Open the UISqueezy plugin from Figma Community and run it inside the file you want to connect.

Open Figma Community
02

Sign in and select

Authorize with your UISqueezy account in the browser, then select the workspace project you want to use.

03

Sync or pull

Sync project tokens to Figma Variables or pull supported variable updates back into Studio when needed.

Supported surfaces

Built for the plugin flows available today.

The plugin focuses on UISqueezy project authentication, token module loading, Figma Variables sync, pull from Figma, and action feedback.

UISqueezy projectsAuthenticated selection
Token modulesLoaded by collection
Permissions and plansAction feedback
